Reinforcements insertion

The frame or internal or perimeter solid wood core of the panel allows the product to be worked like a traditional panel.
The size of the frame is defined with the customer based on the processing that will be carried out on the panel.

Processes

Perimeter frame on all sides or part of them, for edging or hardware insertion

 

Internal frames

Internal frames for the insertion of hardware or for the creation of holes, through holes, or various types of milling. Insertion of tubes for cable passage.

 

Types of frame

The perimeter and internal frames can be made with different materials; the choice of these is made based on the processes that need to be carried out and can be:

MDF

 

Economical material to use when a support is needed to be lacquered

 

Plywood

 

Machined and left exposed to showcase the material. Lightweight and durable, plywood provides excellent structural performance.

 

Plywood

 

Can be used between the skins, left exposed, or as an edge-banding support. Lightweight and durable, it provides an ideal substrate for mounting hardware.

Aluminum solid wood

 

Used where edge banding is not required, it can be painted and offers excellent resistance to water and humidity. It also provides a reliable substrate for mounting hardware.

 

Aluminum profile

 

When multiple functions are required, the edge reinforcement can be built as a multi-layer structure. In the example shown, it combines MDF, plywood and 3 mm aluminum, configured to create a high-rigidity "H" structure.

 

HPL

 

It can be used between the skins or machined and left exposed without the need for edge banding, thanks to its technical properties.
