Vacuum table

Vacuum table top made from an aluminum honeycomb composite panel, consisting of:

a perforated honeycomb core with perforated cell walls;
a 3 mm-thick micro-perforated aluminum top skin and a machined bottom skin;
aluminum perimeter profiles integrated between the two skins.

Which configuration should you choose?

ALUXAPP allows the pneumatic vacuum system to be integrated directly into the table top structure, making the panel an active part of the system. Negative pressure is distributed evenly across the entire working surface, providing secure and effective material hold-down during processing.

Low weight, excellent flatness and high bending strength complete the solution, keeping the table top rigid and stable under load.

Hardware Integration

The panel is designed and machined to accommodate the hardware required for the application. Fastening positions and machining operations are defined according to the selected mechanism and the anticipated loads.

Custom-Engineered Hardware

When standard off-the-shelf components do not meet project requirements, we develop dedicated fastening and connection systems engineered around the panel structure and assembly method. The hardware is manufactured to our drawings by specialized fabrication partners, including in small production runs.

Steeel threaded insert

The hardware is secured using metric threaded inserts anchored to the aluminum skins through mechanical deformation of the insert. The resulting connection is strong and reusable, allowing screws to be installed and removed repeatedly without compromising the panel.
